"'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the Sons of God.' ...The 'peacemakers' - those who have the ability to be totally non-judgmental in any situation, to see both sides of the story and to believe that both parties are right, to be able to balance the extremes, to bring them into balance, and to bring about a peacefulness.
...The Child of God. What is the Child of God? The Child of God is one who knows his Sonship. The Child of God is one who is so intricately connected to the Father that all things whatsoever they are doing involve God.
When I (Jesus) was a child, I didn't understand people who did not know God because to me, God was such an ever-present force in my life that whatever game - it didn't matter whether I was playing with other children or whether I was by myself or what I was playing at doing - I felt that God was playing with me, that there was a joyousness in it.
A Child of God. Think on those words... A Child of God. To become as a child, absolutely trusting, absolutely without guile, with no hidden purposes, innocent of the thoughts of wrongdoing or evil, as you call it. A child in that there is this knowing that the parent is available. absolutely constant, never failing, never not giving forth of the highest and best.
To be a Child of God in consciousness, one is intimate with God in thought, in feeling. In whatever is being outpictured, there is a sense of the presence of God. When one is walking through the wilderness with nothing to eat and you are greatly hungered and thirsty, that presence of God can so fill you as to take away your hunger and to quench your thirst. When I said to the Samaritan woman at the well, 'This water that you drink of, later you will be thirsty, but the water that I can give you, you will never thirst again.' And that is knowing the constancy of God, to being aware in any moment, in any situation, at any point, that indeed, you are not alone, that there is that abiding, sustaining, ever-loving presence with you.
You have to practice this every day - ah, every moment - because if you don't, you can get swept away in the earth, in the vibrations, in the mass consciousness, and you can feel that you can be alone and you can be abandoned and that is not so. So to practice to be the Child of God means to be aware."
