"The higher self of you is the part of you that is directly connected to the personality that you are, that you have put on to use while you are here upon the earth. That guidance is the purest guidance that you will receive because it is from the spirit self of you. That guidance never leaves you. You think it does. But when you think it is absent, that is when the personality self of you has gotten itself so churned up that it is blocking the flow of the intuitive voice of God within you.
In order to be aware of the guidance of your higher self, it is important that you become very still. I don’t mean just physically still. It is important that you become mentally still and that you use your centeredness, centering yourself in the light, in the Christ awareness, allowing yourself to rest in that light. When you do that, the portals of heaven open to you because the spirit self of you ever abides in what you would term to be heaven where there is absolute peace, where there is joy, perfect love, perfect everything.
When you center yourself to receive from the God self of you, you are never denied that access, never. You are never turned away. There is not a time in which the God of you says, 'I don’t want to talk to that personality. She has offended Me. Therefore, let her go and muddle through!’ That never happens. When you center yourself, you bring into alignment all of the chakras. That is important. You also bring into alignment your mental body, your emotional body, your etheric body, and your physical body. You align them in perfect order.
This is necessary. Why? Because the God self of you has to pour into those bodies the awareness of that which it is trying to bring to you. These bodies are in perfect alignment when you request that they be. It is that simple. You don’t have to get into any position. You don’t have to be doing anything. All you have to do is ask, ‘I ask for complete alignment of my total being,’ and it is done. …In order for this to be ever available to you, it is such that it happens upon request. All you have to do is ask.
The thing is that when you get into a muddle over something, a lot of you don’t think to ask. You say, ‘Oh, God, help me,’ but you don’t think to align yourself so that you are aware of the help that is there. You become immediately upset. When you do get upset, you make a zigzag in your alignment instead of it being straight.
It only takes a moment, a second of your time to just think, ‘I desire to be in complete alignment.’ When you think this, it happens instantly. Then the flow of information from the higher self of you comes down without any interference whatsoever. It is there and it pours in and you become aware of it.
That awareness takes many forms. It depends on what you are asking for or why you feel in need of it. It can come as a sense of peace. It can come as a sense of being removed from an unbearable situation. It can come as an inspiration of what to do or what to say. It can come as a feeling: ‘It is all right. Everything is all right. I shall know how to proceed.’ It comes in accordance with what your request for it is. It never, never not works. It always works for you, ever. It doesn’t matter what is going on.
Bringing in the higher self of you is the most important way for you to receive guidance because each time you do this, you become more and more open to it. When it happens, it is more readily recognized by you. When you are a stranger to it, it frequently happens and you don’t recognize it. It is like asking and asking and the answer in right in front of your face and you keep saying, ‘Get out of my way. I have to ask a question.’ You don’t see the answer. But when you are always tuned to the higher self of you, when the answer is there, you know it is there. It is not a thing where you think you have not been answered. You know it is there.
You are thinking, ‘Well, if I can do all of that, then why do I need angels and certainly why do I need master teachers and guides and so forth? We all have our purpose. …Angels work differently than human guides do. We work differently because we are not bound to the earth. We have no vested interest in the earth. We have no vested interest in your physical, material lives. Our interest in you is purely and only spiritual. We care how you are from a spiritual point of view. So we work very intimately with your connectiveness to the God self of you.
What you perceive to be a materialistic or a physical concern, we see to be an opportunity for you to exercise your Godness. We see this as an opportunity for you to become more and more aware of who you really are in terms of your son of Godness. So we don’t look at a physical situation from the aspect of how is this going to be physically or materially for you. We look at it as how is it going to be spiritually for you. Are you going to grasp the lesson, recognize its opportunity, and use it? Are you going to use it from the higher self of you?
We watch you have your little moments of higher self awareness and then we watch you slide off the track, as it were, and get caught in the appearance of a material situation. As you get caught in the appearance of that situation, you feed energy into it and the situation appears to be larger than you and it never is. When you tune in to the higher self of you, you instantly have angel help and angels will do whatever the higher self of you is asking for.
What would the higher self ask for you? Only your highest good. No matter what the situation is, angels will protect you from anything unnecessary. They will bring in and hold when you cannot. Through their vibration they will hold the healing, the health, the protection, the love, the blessing and they hold that in place all around you. Whether you realize it or not, even though the situation appears difficult for you, it becomes lesser so because we hold that vibration of absolute good around you at all times.
Physical situations are always dealt with from a spiritual perspective by angels, always, without fail. It doesn’t matter whether it is an extreme condition or whether it is simply your trying to make up your mind to go here or go there. It is always looked upon as a spiritual happening because, in truth, it is a spiritual happening.
If you could know what little bearing your physical lives have from a physical standpoint upon the soul aspect of you, you would understand why we say that every happening is a spiritual happening to you. Everything that happens to you is a spiritual decision. It is a time, an opportunity for you to choose the spiritual path or to choose to become entangled in appearance, entangled in the energies of what the ego would have you believe. So everything that happens to you is a spiritual choice.
Now you might think, ‘But some of the things that happen to me are not spiritual at all. They are very earthly. What about that?’ Even that has its beginning in a spiritual idea that you took within yourself for the purpose of the gift it would give you. It brings to you ever an opportunity to discover how powerful you are spiritually, how truly powerful you are."
