Present in the Moment


"You have to be present in the moment. It took me a long time to get a handle on that because I kept thinking that being present in the moment meant you are mindful of washing dishes, of sweeping floors. I thought, 'No, those are things.' You are mindful of the blessings of the moment because we only have that moment. We can only be in the moment. It is not possible to be in the past and we haven't gotten to the future yet. So being mindful of the moment is very important. ...We need to be present and thankful and aware that where we are at the moment is where we are supposed to be and we can enjoy the moment for everything that it has to offer. It is really a very wonderful moment."
