"For those of you who strive for spiritual understanding, some-times it is the striving that gets in your way. What you need to do is to relax into the truth and not take every little piece and examine it separately because when you examine truth separately, you don’t get the whole picture, and sometimes it appears that what you’ve got in your hand is not truth. Using your mind, in a relaxed trusting way, will lift you up into knowledge and wisdom. You don’t have to know why the birds fly south, all you have to know is that they do. No guilt if you don’t understand why.
You know, some of you are healing emotional pain. You can look at any aspect of your life and you can heal it, not by taking it apart but by detaching from it and saying, ‘Alright. That was then, this is now. I do not have to relive that pain. I do not have to find out why I have that pain. I can look at it, recognize it, and let it go.’ Now I am not saying don’t go to therapy… What I am saying is: look at it, understand it, and then let it go.”

“Interestingly enough, the things you learn, while you are encased in flesh on the earth, have a greater value in terms of the awakening of your spirit than the things that you learn when you are in the spirit world. When you are in the spirit world, unless you create something, there are no obstacles to your learning. There is no lack of memory, there is no lack of understanding; there is no lack. So, something learned in the spirit world comes like that [a snap of the fingers]. You instantly know; you instantly understand. In the physical world, you learn from experiences and from what you are taught and so on and so forth. So, there is a different aspect to growth in the spirit world and growth in the physical world.”
